The Youth Providers were selected by the Workforce Board and Youth Council to implement the Summer Jobs Program. Youth providers act in the following capacity:
- Employer of record for youth and young adults
- Training and orientation of staff and participating youth and young adults
- Day-to-day supervision and oversight of each crew
- Collaborate with project hosts to manage each crew’s work and support the educational aspects of the program
- Transportation of work crews to and from project sites
- Ensure that crews have necessary safety gear, tools, and materials to complete tasks in a safe and efficient manner
- Support youth participation in educational components of the program

The main goal of Petaluma People Services Center (PPSC) is to reduce poverty, physical and mental abuse, chemical dependence, violence, ignorance, isolation and mental illness, among children, adults, families and seniors. PPSC is much more than a collection of 34 human services programs based on best practice research with measurable outcomes. PPSC a community of caregivers existing within the larger community whose sole purpose is to help make people’s lives better. They strive to do this one child, one adult, and one senior at a time.

Social Advocates for Youth is a community leader in providing support, opportunities and hope to children, youth and families. SAY offers 17 programs at five locations throughout Sonoma County. They serve diverse at-risk and high-needs populations through age 25, including children who have been physically, sexually or emotionally abused or who are at risk of abuse, runaway and homeless youth, transitional age youth (former foster youth and homeless young adults), youth at risk of gang involvement, young parents, youth seeking guidance in finding jobs and completing their education, and youth who may be struggling in their transition from teen to young adulthood.

West County Community Services (WCCS) – West County

WCCS works to strengthen families in western Sonoma County. They provide opportunities, support and resources that touch the lives of youths, adults and seniors. By strengthening families WCCS builds stronger communities. WCCS operates five critical social services departments serving thousands of youth, adults, and seniors every year. The program departments include: Counseling and Prevention, Adult and Youth Employment, Russian River Senior Resource Center, After School Programs and Emergency Food & Housing Services. Services are provided throughout the region, including Guerneville, Monte Rio, Forestville, Sebastopol, Occidental, Cazadero, and Santa Rosa.
