Where New Ways Works

Because helping youth connect to a successful future is vital to everyone, efforts to re-invent the services provided for youth nearing adulthood are taking place on state, national, and local levels.

New Ways facilitates state, national, and local initiatives, helping people identify needs, develop strategies, design plans, and implement changes that enhance the support that young people receive:

  • Building Connected Transition Systems for All Youth in California
  • Supporting Connections between Schools and the Workplace across the Nation
  • Building Community Capacity through Customized Technical Assistance

New Ways works with public and private funders, government, local organizations, and communities to identify challenges related to youth and the systems that serve them. We help clarify issues and then work with people in communities to design innovative approaches, apply new strategies, and implement solutions to improve outcomes for youth.

Using the All Youth - One SystemSM framework and related tools, New Ways staff has assisted dozens of communities and organizations design and implement innovative projects and initiatives to coordinate education, workforce development, youth development, and youth leadership efforts. Thanks to the vision and hard work of youth-serving professionals throughout California and the U.S., tens of thousands of youth have received the services and support they need to become successful as adults.
